In the early 1980’s Cosco Holding opened Australia’s first recycled tissue mill in Carole Park, Queensland. Driven by the need to use resources more sustainably this put Cosco at the forefront of the recycling movement.

Cosco Holdings Ltd later became Softex Industries and in 2002, ABC Tissue Products took over the company and established Queensland Tissue Products.

Queensland Tissue Products employs more than 200 people nationwide and we are the only full service recycled tissue plant with de-inking facilities located here in Australia.

We remain fully committed to doing our best
for the environment everyday and continue to manufacture quality products made from recycled paper and sustainable sources of raw materials.
